Just call me Vendor

Okay, can I scream now? :-)

If you know me, though, you know I'm not really the screaming type.  Unless, of course, someone makes me ride on California Screamin' at CA Adventure, where I screamed like there was no tomorrow and proceeded to shake like jello a full ten minutes afterward.  But then again, that's not my usual condition....

I may just let out a little "woopwoop" though because---after all---I'm an official vendor now.

:-)

I would like to take this opportunity to announce that, as of 2 hours ago, I am the newest vendor/artist at this fun little gallery in town:

...where I left these two little guys today:

...and where I will drop this little chest off tomorrow.  It still needs some slight distressing and sealer:

Didn't these pieces turn out lovely?  This was my first time doing a two-tone color on a piece, and although it looks very modern and fresh as is, I'm eager to see what a little distressing will do.  Very little, though.  It would be much more me that way, I think.

I don't have time in this post to show you the steps on each of these pieces, but I will give quick before photos so you can recall what they used to look like last week.  I will post my paint colors and steps for each piece soon ~ I promise ~ because that's the fun part.

And now, after a little love:

I really have no idea where this gallery opportunity may lead, but my plan is to continue taking one small step at a time, and to trust my God with the rest.  I have learned that His plans are always so much easier in the long run than mine, and I will trust Him with this journey as well.

I gotta run, lots to do: kids to raise, groceries to buy, supper to cook.  All those simple joys :-)

Blessings on your journey today,
Jaimee
